A Saturday morning of alternative economies – because money doesn’t buy everything! Join in the fun, share skills, exchange stuff, meet great people, you can even help make it happen. It’s all about people doing good stuff together.

The Fair Share Market is held every second Saturday at Go Eco’s Envirocentre, featuring:

Crop Swap Kirikiriroa

Crop Swap Kirikiriroa is a space for home gardeners and our community gardens to swap and share their surplus produce.

Bring your surplus produce, talk about what you’re growing or what you’ve made, meet people who are also growing and making things, and take home produce shared by others. We welcome seedlings, produce, preserves, recipes and other related items – anything you have in abundance.

Crop Swap Kirikiriroa happens once a month, as part of the Fair Share Market from 9am-10am. You can also join our Facebook group to see what people are going to be bringing, arrange your own swaps, and connect with people.

Repair Co Op

The Repair Co Op’s aim is to get more people repairing their valued possessions; it is about disrupting the linear make-buy-dispose pathway many items face, and offers an opportunity for people to learn to repair things together.

At The Repair Co Op, you will find expert volunteers with repair skills in all kinds of areas, along with the tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need. We can help you with clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, small appliances, toys, and more. Best of all it’s free of charge!

If you have nothing to repair, you’re welcome to come along and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee or even lend a hand with someone else’s repair job.

The Repair Co Op happens once a month, as part of the Fair Share Market, from 10am–12pm. You can also follow our Facebook page for updates!
