Climate Response Programme

The 2023 pilot is now complete.  Please email to express interest in the 2024 intake.

The Climate Response Programme aims to prepare small organisations, charities, not for profit,  Maori and iwi organisations and community groups on the climate change journey to reducing emissions. It includes onsite and online tailored, personal support to create a sustainability framework/ climate action plan with target setting. It also aims  to improve performance, shift to equity based practices, like honouring Te Tiriti.

As the Government enacts the Climate Change Commission’s Recommendations/delivers on Carbon Zero Bill, further businesses will be required to act. This programme will assist organisations on the journey. It’s point of difference is the sharing of resources, stories, workshops, community advisors and tailored onsite support. It will use existing C02e calculators.

Together we will be taking steps towards our country’s target of a 50% reduction in CO2e by 2030.

If you’re part of an organisation that wants to learn more about their operational emissions, sustainability, setting targets, site audits and developing a climate change/sustainability plan please get in touch.

In 2023 we ran a pilot for the programme – the report will be published in early 2024. The 2023 pilot was being supported by Waikato Regional Council, Hamilton City Council, Waikato District Council and Trust Waikato.

Hi, I would like to put Raglan Chocolate forward for this great opportunity. Rachel Goddard did mention this to me last week but I was having a hectic week and said we didn’t have time ? but have just heard them talking about it on Raglan Radio and see it’s not too demanding on our time so would love to apply ?
