Our locally crafted darning mushrooms are upcycled from native wood. This wood was destined to be burnt or sent to landfill, before Te Pahu based wood-turner John Baker got his hands on it.
Darning mushrooms help to stretch your fabric, keeping it even while mending. This is especially helpful when you’re darning a hole in a knitted or stretch fabric (like in your socks, sweater or stretching jeans).
