Did you know?….  That the majority of tea bags contain micro-plastics?

If tea bags are composted, all of the micro-plastics end up in the garden.  Then they get washed away into storm drains that make their way to our oceans.

But don’t worry, make the simple swap to loose tea and problem solved!

How to make a cup of tea with NO loose tea bits!

Wet your tea infuser before putting in the tea leaves.

Then fill up your cup by pouring water on the outside of the infuser.  You want the water to go into the infuser through the holes.

Doing these two things will help the tiniest of tea leaves to absorb water and expand so that they can’t fit through the holes.
